Self-love journal

February brings us the loved/dreaded Valentine’s Day. What can be fun when we are little ~ making Valentines for our friends and eating conversation hearts ~ can morph into a pressure cooker of trying not to be caught alone on Valentine’s as we grow-up. Well, I’m here to tell you that love isn’t just for couples.

How can you give yourself love?

Self-love doesn’t have to mean spending several hundred dollars at a spa (or on Taylor Swift tickets, ahem, still without here). It can mean giving yourself the time and space to color or doodle! Galentine’s anyone?

Parents, let’s not count you out.

You spend so much of your days giving to others and prioritizing their needs. Self-love may mean a shower or leaving the laundry unfolded and calling a friend. Remember to count yourself in your circle of loved ones and check out the support resource below.
